No. The Pet Tracker and Smart Pet Tracker are a one-time purchase with no activation, no monthly plan and no renewal. The Ultra includes three years of cellular service in its price, so it has no monthly fee either.

Each finder pairs with one network: Apple Find My for iPhone, or Google Find Hub for Android. Choose the version that matches your phone at checkout. A finder cannot be switched between networks after setup.

The Pet Tracker and Smart Pet Tracker are collar finders that use the finding network on your phone, not GPS. The Joylink Ultra is the GPS model, with a built-in SIM and three years of service included.

Both are collar finders at $35.99. The Smart Pet Tracker ships with a shaped holder — a cat-face holder for cats, a bone holder for dogs. The Pet Tracker ships with two collars in different sizes and a standard holder.

Yes. The Smart Pet Tracker holder is light enough for cats; use a small or medium collar and check the fit with two fingers of slack.

About five minutes. Open the app you already have, add the finder, name it, and put it on the collar. There is no Joylink account to create and no pairing code to type.

In Bluetooth range, roughly the length of a street, you can play a sound. Beyond that, the finding network may report where the collar was last detected. For positioning beyond Bluetooth range, choose the Ultra.

The Pet Tracker and Smart Pet Tracker report the last place the collar was detected, not a moving dot. Live location is an Ultra feature.

Yes. Sharing happens inside Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, so anyone you share the item with sees the same location you do.

The finding network works where the network has coverage and your phone has data. Joylink ships to the United States and Canada; the Ultra includes cellular coverage in the United States and across Europe.

Measure around the neck where the collar sits, then leave two fingers of slack. Small fits 28–39 cm, medium 35–48 cm, large 38–58 cm.

Cat sets ship with small and medium. Dog sets ship with medium and large.

The holder is designed for everyday wear on cats and small dogs. If your cat has never worn a collar, give it a week indoors before relying on it.

The finder uses a common replaceable coin cell available at most supermarkets. How long it lasts depends on how often you play a sound and how often the network picks it up.

Yes on the Pet Tracker and Smart Pet Tracker. The Ultra recharges on a magnetic charging dock instead.

Treat the standard finders as everyday-wear devices for rain, wet grass and muddy walks rather than for swimming. The Ultra has a sealed, splash-ready housing. Check the specification on each product page before exposing a finder to heavy water.

Take the finder off before swimming. The collar itself can get wet; the electronics are the part to protect.

No. Joylink's range is pet-only. The earlier Round Tracker and Tracking Card have been discontinued and are no longer sold.
